Guest Post: Did We Evolve or was Someone Involved?

2010

Today’s guest post comes from a very special writer: My daughter. She goes by the pen name Wheelchairgirl. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and she also has a passion to write among other things. Her love of life and desire to accomplish many things even those that people don’t typically imagine can be done by a person in a wheelchair is also the inspiration for my children’s book. She is also writing her first book.

The artwork is by my other daughter. We’ll just call her Wiggles. That’s her nickname and she’ll just love that I told it to the world. She is excellent future artist and I am happy to show off her work. She loves to make art but she especially loves to care for animals. They love her too. So her art is a great fit for this post.

When I grew up children were to be seen and not heard but in 2010 children deserve and need the right to be heard as well. So I am privileged to share this particular guest post to with you.

When Charles Darwin published his book; “The Origin of Species” mankind’s idea of how we came to be changed. They started to believe that we just happened; that we just showed up by chance. But do you think that we may have been created?

For example, think about the Sun. Do you believe that something with that much power could have just shown up all of a sudden? The temperature of the Sun is 27,000,000 Fahrenheit. Also think about the Earth relating to the Sun. Scientists say that if the Sun were too close to the Earth, that the Earth would be so hot, it wouldn’t be livable. Likewise, if the Sun were too far from the Earth, it would be too cold to even live on.

Also, think about the animals. They can do things without even learning how and they can’t even think. But as humans we have to learn and train ourselves and we can think. I think that is just amazing!

Sometimes we don’t want to admit that there actually is a creator. That someone thought of us. We were made special. That even identical twins are not exactly alike. No fingerprint is alike. To me, I believe that just touch your heart. There is someone out there where who cares. It should make you feel special; unique.

Based on what I’ve shown here, that should change your mind on life. So what do you think now? Did we evolve or was someone involved? You decide.

Say it, Wheelchair Girl! :) I love that she presents her point with valid reasoning & still leave it up to the reader to form his/her own opinion. Clearly a trait learned from Mom ;) I’m also jealous of Wiggles’ art skills. I can barely draw a stick figure, haha. Great post.

LOL Thank you This is Wheelchairgirl herself! I have a big passion for writing and soon I am publishing my own book. Maybe one day you’ll be seeing my name on books! Thank you so much again!

Just amazing! What a blessing you are. Thank you for your words, and your vision. It forced me to stop and read (and think) as we all do at times. I do believe in a higher power, a “creator” so to speak. One that took the time to give us all that we could ever need, very much the parent.

I’m sorry but the art work was not visible for me, perhaps it will be here when I visit again.
My love to Wiggles just the same.

I look forward to more of your posts!! Well done!!

I would have to say both. He created us and everything we see, but when our environment changed, we evolved to adapt. But again, He is still responsible for making sure that we evolved!

    Very interesting and thought-provoking!

Thank you for your comment Monise :) A very interesting perspective. With the oil spill it amazes me to no end wondering how the oceans will adapt to that pollution
