TED Talks: UNICEF Ambassador Sarah Jones’ Inspiring Multicultural One Woman Show (Video)

I watched this video this morning on a very nice blog called “Steadfast As Thou Art-The Art Mill and Pit of James Sumner Leese” and I just HAD to share it with all of you. This was a very positive, funny and almost moving video of a talk given by a woman named Sarah Jones who is described as a “Tony Award-winning monologist, UNICEF ambassador, firebrand and FCC-fighting poet” whom I had never been introduced to but I could now probably watch all the time.

She was speaking at The TED conferences which are being held this week in Long Beach and Palm Springs, California. If you are not familiar with TED it is an acronym for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It describes itself as “a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading”. That description certainly doesn’t do it justice but it gives you insight into the people behind it.

I encourage you to visit the site and learn more about TED and the many other wonderful speakers that were showcased because the whole event is online for all of us who couldn’t attend but definitely want to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy the video and would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,

Literary Nobody
