A most dis­gust­ing crime has hap­pened. A 20-​year-​old Florida man has been charged with incest for rap­ing his 87-​year-​old men­tally ill Grandmother over a period of eight years. Garrett Andrew Douglas admit­ted to rap­ing his grand­mother begin­ning when he was just 12-years-old.This is an unbe­liev­able crime and it just bog­gles my mind that any­one could do this.

But, what if the media had mis­tak­enly posted your pic­ture along­side a story like this. It could hap­pen. In this story it seems to have already hap­pened.

On Twitter the web­site WOT Daily posted this tweet:

With a link to this story that clearly shows the offender to be this man:

West Palm Beach ABC affil­i­ate sta­tion WPBF25 in a related story had a dif­fer­ent image up of Douglas. (due to AP restric­tions I couldn’t post image)
SunSentinel​.com also shows that the man in the first pic­ture is not Douglas.

Which one is right? I’m not sure. Clearly both men have engaged in some sort of a crime but which one is the guilty party in this par­tic­u­lar case?

What do you think about this hor­ri­ble crime? Also, if your pic­ture was incor­rectly posted next to it how would you react?
